The Heroes of Phandalin, reunited with Bizarre Gunther, arrived at the mercantile town of Triboar to a less than warm greeting from Daratha Shendrel.
The overworked Lord Protector scheduled their meeting for the following afternoon and the party decided to lend a hand, getting cracking with the business of local heroism.
They conducted investigations and solved crimes – all except Miss Moss, that is, who was everywhere and nowhere, riding her new prize mare up and down the main street.
Londer Palebright appears to have taken Bizarre Gunther of the Snoring Fjord as his squire. The two of them discovered that Gunther’s underworld contact, Urlam Stockspool, was unable to ‘make a seven foot tabaxi disappear’. He suggested he try One Eyed Jaxx in Luskan.
Thoradin leads an investigation into the robbery of the Lion’s Share. Discovering the mastercrafted grappling hook was sold by the dwarven smith, Ghelryn Foehammer, to Darz Helgar, the man who tends the Caravan Grounds, they prepare to confront him.
Lia and Leshanna discover that the drunken priest in the Talking Troll, was told by his deity, Helm, that the missing man, Mirak, was still at Six Windows – ‘not buried in the ground, but above’. The next stop is to confront the widow and proprietor of the rooming house, Tolmara Hysstryn.
Bizarre Gunther performed a dance in the street so marvelous that he now has a small but devoted fan-base in town.
