The duchess and duke have reached the top of the elevator.

Quests and tasks:– Accessing a conch to root out the evil in King Hecaton’s court
– Getting news of the Fire Giants at the Forge to King Morinn and Queen Tithmel
– Finding Lia’s sister
– Seeking the powerful weapon in the possession of Cerise (Hecaton’s daughter on the throne)
– Avenging the slain cloud giant (Igorn) who was killed by his father
– Finding Moog (the sad giant’s) husband
Last week (flash backs)Gunther turns him and Lia visible and then turns them and the duchlet invisible. Using Pookie as the guide, he leads her back towards the rest of the adventurers.
“It’s time to introduce you to your magical saviours” he says
Thoradin realises he must be invisible. Lia puts her hand on his shoulder and whispers “Easy Tiger.”
The adventurers greet the invisible duchlet. A long low sound comes out from her and she says “Alright Pookie, you’ve got some explaining to do”
Lia casts a spell on herself and Gunther and Leshanna, and a row of mushrooms appear around them all in a display of magic.
Miss Moss puts on her hat of disguise and turns into a fairy, then takes her hat off and says “Don’t be so judgemental, you never know where the fairies are hiding!”
Cindahyld the duchlet
Leshanna sends a message “Send the conch up in the elevator, or your daughter gets it” with addendum “do it now.”
They all get in the the elevator.
The Duke dashes towards them with the hell hounds
They arrive at the top domed room.
LIa summons a rhino.
Miss Moss is disguised as a queen drow
Cindahyld dashes away. Gunther and the duchlet have a little bit of argy bargy and then Gunther reveals himself in cat form.
For a moment they stand, frozen, looking at each other.
“What witchcraft is this?” She says
“You must prove your worth, do not fail this test.” Gunther
Thoradin gets his lion.
Lia calls Keanareeves
They ready themselves. the lift starts rising.
An enormous helmed head comes into view. Next to the head is a red pillar of fire, it’s the head of the duchess, her hair wrapped around a dragon’s horn. Next to her is the duke.
Miss Moss yells, “Yank the lever!”
They can see the body of the duke has an amazing hulking form, a particularly fearsome sight. Iron inset gems in his armour glisten, dragon bones on the armour. The two hellhounds stand by him.
The duchess’ gown is made of black dragon scales.
Thoradin calls out “Where is the conch?”
The duke throws open the side of his cape and reveals a gian† conch. It is much larger than a water melon.
