Where we left off: Mirabar, after a long journey back, time for some downtime between now and next week.
An envoy has invited them to dinner with his master at the inn Forgehammer
Notes from the session
- In the rubble, they consider options to resummon the fire elemental or to fuel the ship
- The location of the frost giant Yarl’s court on the wall – to the west, the sea of ice
- They decide to head back to Mirrabar
- They begin a journey on foot, abandoning the red ship. The weather is too bad and cold for extended travel. They take shelter in caves. The worst of winter is passing
- Once the seasons begin to change, they start to find a way down
- There aren’t as many hostile creatures as they remember, nothing that causes problems
- The trip is long and difficult, they finally begin to see green peeking through
- They come across a road, and follow it as it begins to snake up the mountain towards Mirrabar
- They arrive in bad repair, looking gaunt and exhausted but strong and resolute
- It’s clear many know who you are, and others are impressed by the appearance of heroism
- A general renown for Triboar and Xantharl’s Keep
- They are going to have some downtime
- On their first evening at the place, when they set up their lodgings there is an envoy who appears. It is a young gentleman, dressed in simple embroidered clothes. He apologises for interrupting them. His master invites them for dinner at the inn the sign of the Forgehammer.
