| Last week (flash backs) | The battle with the yak folk continues, enter the earth elemental Leshanna casts fireball. The priest begins to summon a huge creature from the corner of the room. It’s larger than the yak folk. Jagged stones stick out from it. It is made of earth, stone, gems. This is an earth elemental. The priest runs across and takes cover near the gong on the side of the room. Lia attacks the priest and is attacked herself. One of the yak people cowardly attacks the sleeping Miss Moss. She wakes and attacks back then disengages and moves away, cleverly grabbing a healing potion on the way. Londer buries his axe deep into the neck of a yak dude. Kyon critically attacks the chief, but the damage is low. Thoradin heals Miss Moss and Lia, then immediately caves in the back of the chief’s skull. Leshanna incapacitates the Earth Elemental with hideous laughter, the priest bangs the gong and attempts to run outside, and Londer takes an opportunity shot. She disappears through the beads. Lia calmly takes a step forward and aims through the beads at her head. The priest is dead. The earth elemental’s head starts to rage Screams from beyond the battle. They fight on. Footsteps approachThe gong is still reverberating throughout the village and they hear several humanoid screams as if someone has been executed. This is from the west and the south east. Two of the yak people attack, without much impact. Miss Moss hears footsteps rushing towards the tent from the south, east and north. She disengages and runs over towards Gunther, attacking the yak man as she goes. Londer races outside and calls back that he can see yak folk running from each of the south, east and north. He can see several yak folk in the distance coming from the other side of the village. “There’s more coming, maybe time to run!” Kyon rushes over to one of the remaining yak folk but misses. Thoradin summons a guardian of faith near the door.Leshanna incapacitates the earth elemental again. Lia kicks Gunther in the ribs. He wakes. Lia attacks the yak man with her jib jab dual blades. He’s dead. There are more screams of people being mortally wounded outside. Miss Moss runs out the door and hides behind the dead priest. She aims at a charging yak person and fires. Londer, also outside, throws javelins at the yak folk, critically hitting and the javelin stick out the chest of the yak guy. Gunther turns the earth elemental into a little praying mantis that can hardly move. He moves over, picks him up and then spits him out. He does a small dance on him and pulls his head off. He splits it apart – it regains its form in the air. The whole thing gets sucked into a vortex and disappears. Gunther looks at everyone and says, “Ohh I’m glad I didn’t eat it!” Kyon and Thoradin have another couple of goes at the yak guy. His spell lights the tent up a green glow. The spiritual weapon also attacks, slamming him against the wall. Leshanna attacks but misses and moves outside as well. Just then they hear someone shouting “Help, please help!” |
