The battle continues.

Londer moves up to the wyrmling and swings with the Great Khan but misses. He swings again and hits, hard. He jumps into the air and leaps at the dragon. attempting to grapple. It flicks its wings and manages to fly up, out of reach.
One of the barbarian rushes towards the wall with the intention of climbing.
Harshnagg dashes towards the fray.

The white wyrmling releases from his mouth a stream of frozen spray. Londer escapes unarmed and the dragon flies up again.
The Witchy shaman begins to chant, incantations. Colour comes out around her and begin to swirl around Londer. Leshanna makes a motion and quickly counters the spell – the Shaman is interrupted and the spell dissipates. She dashes towards the wall.
Gunther moves to attack with a bolt, and says a witty Guntherism.  He misses and moves to take shelter against the wall.
One of the barbarians moves towards the wall and begins to try climbing. It’s a difficult climb and he fails, falling to the ground.
Charmed, Leshanna’s barbarian starts chatting to her. “How’s it going, what’s happening?” Leshanna sighs and shrugs at him.
Another barbarian summons all his strength, swings at Thoradin with his axe, missing spectacularly. He looks exhausted and dejected.
Another barbarian calls out a rallying cry in a language they don’t understand
Miss Moss brings out her Oathbow and takes aim. A critical hit, she strikes. Miss Moss can see the arrow sticking out of the armour and isn’t happy with the damage done. She quickly draws again and strikes again. It’s dark and she can’t see much but thinks the warrior must be injured.
Thoradin raises up Sacred Flame – the barbarian lights up, flames everywhere.
Leshanna moves over to the edge of the shelf and takes out a tiny ball of bat guano and a pinch of sulphur. She points into the centre of three barbarians and a bright streak flashes from her pointing finger and then blossoms into a low roar of an explosion of flame. The warrior barbarians both let out huge howls as they are struck with tremendous fire damage. Somehow the Shaman resists and the flames just spark around. The ground is singed and flaiming.
Londer moves towards the edge and readies himself to attack.
One of the barbarians looks up and moves away from him. He makes a check to see how successful he will be climbing up the wall. He gets off the ground slightly but his legs scrabble and he falls again.
Harshnagg sprints towards the barbarians.
The wyrmling spins and swirls and aims at Londer again, he begins firing at Londer with cold air breath. Again, Londer just brushes him away.
The shaman draws a shortbow from her back and lines up Londer. It misses again.
Gunther calls out “Yooo hooo!” and lines up the flying wyrmling. He hits, puncturing its wing and it looks worse for wear.
The perpetually climbing barbarian tries again and fails to climb the wall.
Again, the barbarian takes all his might and swings his great axe at Thoradin, but Thoradin blocks and stares him down.
Finally a barbarian manages to climb the wall, right near Londer who takes an opportunity swing, hitting with the axe and it buries into the side of his shoulder. He falls off the wall, onto the ground. The torch falls on top of him. He hurts himself as well and lies prone.
Miss Moss aims her Oath bow at the barbarian lying prone
Thoradin reaches forward and grabs the barbarian nearby by the throat. Black veins creep across the barbarians skin like gangrene, spreading up to his face and his eyes are wide but looking a little black.hihLeshanna turns with the twig of a tree that has been struck with lightning. She aims at the prone barbarian who is having the worst night ever. Lightning crackles out of her finger in an arc towards him and keeps sparking.
Londer calls out, “Your night’s about to get a little worse” and launches off the ledge onto him from 20 feet up and hits him in the head with an axe.  That ends his reign as the chief of the tribe and the others lower their heads for a moment. It’s quite undignified.
Harshnagg lowers his shoulder and rushes at the Shaman. His shoulder down, full pelt. The Shaman flies back, prone onto the icy ground taking damage.
The wyrmling aims at Gunther and Londer, hitting and damaging significantly.
The Shaman climbs to her feet. Mysterious words and incantations come out of her mouth and the wyrmling looks a little healthier.
Gunther takes a swig of healing potion.
The climbing barbariarian tries again and falls.
The charmed barbarian tells Leshanna he likes what she’s wearing. Leshanna turns her back to him and he keeps wandering around talking to her.
Again a barbarian swings at Thoradin, misses and the defeat shows in his eyes.
Miss Moss throws the rope up onto the wall, and she climbs up the ledge. She smirks at the friendly barbarian and says, “What do you like about me?”
Thoradin casts sacred Flame at the barbarian and scorches him again.
Leshanna casts 3 scorching bolts at the Shaman, calling out – “kill the healer! All target the Shaman!” The bolts hit and the Shaman is holding on by a thread.
Londer swings but misses, he casts second wind on himself.
Next to Londer, the barbarian is full of the rage of the battle, the loss of the chief, the barbarian falling off the wall, the other guy who seems to have made friends with the enemy… he swings… Londer Parries.
Harshnagg raises his great axe, holds it high and brings it down on the barbarian near the wall. It is a tremendous hit.
The wyrmling flies down to Leshanna, breathes its cold air and Leshanna resists. She takes some damage.
A wall of spirits flies about the Shaman.
Gunther attacks with his Crowsbow, just missing.
The barbarian calls out to his gods, raises his axe and screams out a cry, raises his axe and against all odds launches at Harshnagg. It’s a critical hit, but Harshnagg laughs at him.
Their charmed barbarian says some more nice thing.
A feeble attempt from the almost defeated, necrotic barbarian as he swings at Thoradin and misses again.
Miss Moss, turning to the charmed barbarian nearby says, “Hey do you want to play a game?” He says “Yes”She does a little dance, with her rope… “Do you like magic tricks?””I love magic tricks!””She does a little twizzle and ties him up and pushes him over and rolls him around.”
At some point the barbarian realises this is a hostile act and is no longer charmed but Miss Moss doesn’t realise and she’s laughing and laughing while she’s rolling him around and then pops him in the corner all tied up.
Thoradin inflicts wounds against the barbarian nearby. The necrotic damage takes over, the exhausted, defeated barbarian.  Thoradin pushes him and he falls dead.
Leshanna fires Ray of Frost at the Shaman, striking it dead. She moves over and jumps off the ledge, floating down gracefully.
Londer rallies Leshanna, swings at the barbarian nearby and hits three times, killing him as well.
Harshnagg lets out a giant roar and swings at the barbarian. as he brings the axe down it’s so hard that the barbarian is obliterated into pink mist. Harshnagg giggles.
Gunther fires an ass arrow at the wyrmling. and calls out “It’s the dawning of the ice age for you, dinosaur!” The bolt pierces his wing, he loses the ability to fly and everyone swarms around and steps on him.
The cheiftan of the tribe is wearing an amulet of proof against detection and location.  He has 7 gemstones worth 100g each.
The action is over, it’s dim and cold. It’s very vast. There are spaces to the north and south between the pillars. The stones block the way out. At the other end of the hall there is a giant staircase, each step is 5 feet high.  At the end of the staircase are two enormous doors.  Ice, frozen at least 4 inches thick.
MIss Moss asks the barbarian who he is.
“My name is Narv, and fuck you.”Miss Moss is trying to be friendly, she tells him she’ll kill him too but she’s a bit relaxed about it. She’s kind of joking.
Leshanna wants to just charm him again but Miss Moss tells her to back off, she persuades him to talk.
The chief’s cousin’s daughter Noori was seen leaving the camp and they tracked her to this place. She’d been complaining of strange dreams and then one night she just left. One of the guards said he saw her leave. For many days they’d tracked her to this place. They’ve never been here before.
“Why did you fight us?”
“The chief is very cautious and we hate giants. He told us to trigger the traps to keep the adventurers out.”
Leshanna looks skeptical, they’ve just killed the chief. She wants to tie his hands up.
Harshnagg doesn’t care, to be honest he’s never even heard of these guys.
The others agree and Narv joins them as an ally.

The whole place is on a ramp, from West to East slanting upwards towards the staircase.  Each of the hallways leads to a room, where there are switches and portclasses. On the western side, there are switches that control the stones, one on either side. The north has a switch for one side and the south has a switch for the other.
“What should we do here Harshnagg?”
Harshnagg has never been here before but he’ll give pushing the massive doors a go. He goes over and pushes with all his might. After several heavy knocks the ice cracks and falls. The doors reveal themselves. With one final move, he crashes into them and they burst open. Revealed through the doors is a temple. The celing is 100feet high, it’s a vaulted ceiling. Domniated in the space are 7 statues, each filling the height of the room on plynths.
The statues are representations of the sorts of giants theyve met or heard of.
Harshnagg immediately bows his head in reverence

  • Hill giant – club
  • Stone giant – stone boulder
  • Fire giant – great sword
  • Frost giant – hand empty
  • Cloud giant – mithral spear
  • Storm giant – admantine trident

In the centre of the room there is one large robed statue that each of the others appear to be offering the weapons to.
There is an archway, with  six different rooms carved into it, each inlaid with mithral. There are niches with sconces all unlit and dark. Inside the archway there is a mist that swirls and glows. The runes are familiar – they are giant runes.
